1. Overview of Our Stewardship Approach
Harborbell Confectionery respects the privacy of every guest exploring our coastal confectionery showcase and gift collection guide. This Privacy Policy describes the limited technical and voluntary correspondence information associated with visiting our catalog pages or contacting our Camden, Maine workshop.
2. Local Browser Storage & Display Preferences
Our website uses lightweight client-side browser storage (localStorage) on your own device to enhance reading and tasting-tool comfort:
-
Consent Banner Memory (
harborbell_dossier_pref_v1): Records whether you chose to save display preferences or keep essential display settings so our preference card does not reappear on every page view. -
Palate Compass Memory (
harborbell_palate_pair_v1): When display preferences are enabled, remembers your last chosen texture and shoreline flavor pairing inside the Coastal Palate Compass.
You may clear these local browser entries at any time through your web browser settings without affecting access to any showcase page.
3. Voluntary Email Correspondence
When you choose to write to our confectionery team via harborbell.camden@gmail.com regarding keepsake tin assortments, seasonal harbor hours, or allergen questions, we receive your email address and the message details you voluntarily include. We use that correspondence solely to answer your inquiry and never sell, rent, or trade visitor email addresses.
4. Standard Web Hosting Logs
Like standard static web servers, our hosting environment records routine technical diagnostic logs—such as browser family, requested page filename, date and time stamp, and general network routing data—strictly to maintain site reliability and safeguard security.
5. State Privacy Rights & Contact Information
United States visitors may request access to or deletion of any prior email correspondence held by our workshop at any time. Direct all privacy requests to Harborbell Confectionery, 42 Bay View Street, Camden, ME 04843, or email harborbell.camden@gmail.com.
